Sponsored editorial

Guest posts that pass no ranking signal — on purpose.

Every link here carries rel="sponsored". That is not a limitation we are apologising for; it is the reason a placement is safe to buy. What you get instead is readers, a permanent indexed page, and a citation that will still be live in three years.

How a sponsored link is marked up A link with rel="sponsored" passes no ranking signal to Google, but still sends readers, and is disclosed to them at the top of the page. Sponsored post Disclosed at the top, as the FTC requires The markup we write <a href="yoursite.com" rel="sponsored nofollow" target="_blank"> Google receives No ranking signal No PageRank passed You receive Readers who click A permanent citation Your domain stays safe A paid link that passes signal is what Google penalises. This one cannot.
One attribute is the whole difference between a placement and a penalty.
The difference

Most guest post sites are selling you a penalty

The $10 post
  • A followed link, sold as ranking signal
  • Which is exactly what Google's link spam policy names
  • Published on a site with hundreds of identical posts
  • No editor, no review, nobody reads it
  • Removed or nofollowed once payment clears
  • The penalty lands on your domain too
A placement here
  • rel="sponsored" on every outbound link
  • Compliant with Google's policy, so it cannot hurt you
  • Disclosed at the top of the page, as the FTC requires
  • Edited by a person before it publishes
  • Permanent — we do not remove or alter it later
  • Read by people who work in this field

Worth being blunt about this. If your goal is to move a keyword by buying followed links, we are the wrong site, and honestly so is any site that will still be indexed in a year. We would rather lose the sale than sell you something that damages your domain and ours at the same time.

How it works

Four steps, one of which is a real no

01

Pitch the topic

Tell us the subject and where you would want to link. Two minutes, no payment.

02

An editor reads it

Within two working days you get a yes with an invoice, or a no with the reason. We decline about a third.

03

It gets written

You send a draft and we edit it, or we write it from your brief. Either way a person reads every line.

04

Published permanently

Live with the disclosure, sponsored links, schema markup and a place in the sitemap. It stays.

Pricing

Priced as editorial, not as links

A link farm charges ten dollars because nothing happens for the money. These cost more because a person reads the brief, writes or edits the piece, and puts their name to publishing it.

Questions

Before you pitch

Do the links pass ranking signal?

No, and that is deliberate. Every outbound link carries rel="sponsored", which tells Google the placement was paid for. A paid link that passes signal is against Google's link spam policy, and the penalty lands on the buyer's site as well as ours.

Then what am I actually paying for?

Readers, a permanent indexed page, and a citation you can point at. Our audience is people working on video, search and marketing. A piece they read and act on is worth more than a link they never see.

Can I write it myself?

Yes on Standard — you send a draft and we edit it. On Featured and Authority we write it from your brief, because a piece written by someone who reads the site tends to land better.

What gets turned down?

Roughly a third of requests. Casinos, payday loans, adult content, prescription pharmaceuticals, crypto trading advice and essay services are automatic declines. Beyond that we decline anything we think would not be worth reading.

Is the post permanent?

Yes. We do not remove posts or add nofollow later, which some sites do once the payment clears. If we publish it, it stays.

How long until it is indexed?

It goes into the sitemap immediately and we request indexing. Google usually takes a few days to a couple of weeks. Nobody can promise faster, and anyone who does is guessing.
